Proposal details

Burnt River Properties Inc. have applied to vary the tonnage condition of the current licence for ARA licence No. 1151 to authorize an increase in the number of tonnes of aggregate that can be removed in a calendar year.  The current licence condition allows for the removal of a maximum of 200,000 tonnes of material annually.  The licensee has requested that the tonnage condition be increased to allow for the removal of 750,000 tonnes annually.

This increase has been requested by the licensee to address the higher demand of aggregates in the area.
