Original proposal
Proposal details
Murray Mawhinney and Jane Lang-Mawhinney have applied to vary the tonnage condition of the current licence for Aggregate Resources Act (ARA) licence No. 4547 to authorize an increase in the number of tonnes of aggregate that can be removed in a calendar year. The current licence condition allows for the removal of a maximum of 40,000 tonnes of material annually. The licensee has requested that the tonnage condition be increased to allow for the removal of 60,000 tonnes annually.
This increase has been requested by the licensee to address the higher demand of aggregates in the area.
Other information
Murray Mawhinney and Jane Lang-Mawhinney operate this licensed site under the authority of Licence No. 4547 pursuant to the ARA. In total, 8.6 hectares are currently licensed as a pit above the watertable.
