This notice was posted in error. This approval was not subject to Environmental Bill of Rights requirements.

The ECA does not permit the discharge of specific contaminants from a discharge point where:

  1. The discharge point is already subject to an environmental compliance approval within the meaning of the Environmental Protection Act, and
  2. The approval would not permit an increase in the discharge of any of the specific contaminants from the discharge point.

Reference 5(2).6.vii of Ontario Regulation 681/94 (classification of proposals for instruments) under the Environmental Bill of Rights.

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) to be issued to Nathan Raymond Adams and Tammy Maheral-Adams operating as Escape Homes Consulting as part of Argyle Street construction serving a property legally described as Lot 14, Concession 9 in the Town of Mississippi Mills, County of Lanark, Ontario.

The sewage works will include new sanitary sewers designed to collect domestic sewage from the site; discharging, after treatment, into the Mississippi River Watershed.
