Why consultation isn't required
The Montcalm Mine is not in active mine production and is advancing to closed out status, according to the Mining Act. This amendment provides details on progressive rehabilitation conducted at site and provides a strategy as well as updated financial assurance costing details, for remaining rehabilitation activities. No project development activities are proposed at this time.
