Why consultation isn't required

On April 1, 2020, the Ontario Government made a temporary regulation to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. Ontario Regulation 115/20 exempts all proposals for policies, acts, regulations and instruments from posting requirements under the EBR until 30 days after the declared emergency is terminated.

Proposal details

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval to be issued to Donato A. Colangelo for the establishment of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and an oil and grit separator designed for quality control, in support of a proposed residential development on lands located at 8 Lake Street, in the Town of Grimsby, Ontario.

The works will discharge into a tributary of Lake Ontario via an existing sewer system. Sanitary sewers will outlet to the existing sanitary sewer system and eventually to the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
