Decision on instrument
56-C-195516 was approved on January 30, 2020 with conditions that must be fulfilled prior to final approval being granted.
The approval can be appealed using the procedure outlined below. Notice to appeal the decision to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal must be filed with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on or before February 19, 2020.
The proponent has one (1) year to satisfy conditions, otherwise approval will lapse.
Non-standard conditions include:
- That prior to final approval, the Ministry must be provided written confirmation of adequate capacity to dispose of hauled sewage generated by the proposed new lots. This written confirmation should take the form of a letter from the holder of an Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) for an approved septage disposal facility, confirming it has sufficient reserve capacity to accept any additional hauled sewage from these lots.

You can appeal all or part of this this instrument to the appeal to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) by submitting a notice of appeal to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.

A notice of appeal can’t be submitted by:
- an unincorporated association
- an unincorporated group

Proposal details
The application proposes to sever one new lot approximately 21.85 hectares in size with 190 metres of road frontage, and a depth of 1200 metres, for resource-based recreational purposes. The retained lot would be approximately 19.44 hectares with 158 metres of frontage and a depth of 1200 metres. The subject lands are currently vacant.
The Ministry is also reviewing File No. 56-C-191722 which would sever one additional lot from the subject lands (ERO Notice 019-0911).
