The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing will not be making a decision on ERO 013-2079 and hence there is no decision to appeal.
The Municipality's (applicant) new draft of the Official Plan submission will be posted on the ERO for public comment under a new notice.

Description of Instrument
The proposed Official Plan (OP) is intended to replace the existing Official Plan for Neebing which was originally developed in 2001, and approved in 2008. The Municipality of Neebing is located within the District of Thunder Bay and is comprised of the geographic townships of Blake, Crooks, Pardee, Pearson and Scoble. The new OP is intended to establish a policy-driven framework for land use planning in the Municipality of Neebing.
The land uses in Neebing are considered to be rural in character and consist primarily of rural residential uses, recreational residential uses, agricultural uses, forestry uses and commercial and industrial uses in the form of home occupations and home industries within a largely undeveloped rural area. The official plan is intended to balance competing land use interests in order to provide economic growth and development opportunities while protecting provincial interests.
The guiding principles and objectives of the Plan provide direction to manage change, guide future development, and develop detailed policies and programs that stimulate economic growth, protect the natural environment, cultural heritage and archaeological resources. The goals reflect the present and future needs and values of the Municipality and the residents.
This proposed Official Plan was adopted by By-law Number 2017-029 on September 6, 2017, and further amended by By-law Number 2017-041 on November 22, 2017.
