I am a member of Fort Severn First Nation and I can assure you we wish to keep our territory/lands pristine and free from damage and pollution from any mining activity that will affect our community.

We are avid hunters who harvest caribou, fish, geese, we continue to live off the land as our ancestors have done.

Hunting traditions/practices are passed on to younger generations.

We are against any mining activity that will jeopardize our way of life.
