It is unacceptable that Hamilton Golf and Country Club are requesting that their water permit renewal be a category three. It is offensive that a 27 hole golf course feels it is entitled to more water, than a much larger golf course.
It is the ministries job to protect the environment. To provide data support that water consumption on the level requested (category 3) is sustainable environmentally.
A decision to grant the permit should be based on environmental impact and not on tax dollars!
