During unprecedented times of water insecurity and climate change, it would be irresponsible to allow for mass irritation of a golf course. I propose implementing better landscape measures that retain stormwater on site. Native planting with deep roots, bioswales and other retention basins would help alleviate the pressure on the local water supply. It's completely feasible, not to mention more beautiful and better biodiversity.
