I do not support the proposed changes to the Ontario Heritage Act and its regulations: Bill 23 (Schedule 6). These changes undermine protections in place to preserve Ontario’s heritage. To sacrifice this at the expense of sprawling development will not address the core issues of affordable accessible housing while sacrificing heritage that once gone con never be recovered.
