First off, no one in their right mind should let a company like this locate in a populated area. There isn’t a word in the dictionary to describe how tired people are of listening to and being woken up by the constant noise emanating from the Welded Tube plant. Not to mention some dealing with the air and light pollution as well. I figure conservatively that 75 homes are greatly affected in some way by the plant.
The city has simply worried about associated jobs and complaints have been ignored for years. The company has never had any regard whatsoever for the surrounding community!!
I am just over a mile away and can’t imagine how bad the noise is for those located more closely. Luckily I am not South West of the plant, so the hot metal smell is rare. All in all, something should have been done ages ago!
Finally, I find it alarming that not one shred of the ministry noise pollution plan is listed for public viewing. The process has taken forever with the rumored outcome sounding ill fitting at best.
