Hello.
I am a resident on Lavigne rd. and
have a few concerns about this Quarry.
This will for sure bring in many many more trucks down our dirt road. Thousands more.
How will this affect our roads?
Who will be paying for this extra wear and tear on our roads?
And the blasting? May 19 2022 there was a blast like I've never heard before. I thought for sure my neighbours house blew up? When I ran out to see what happened, I saw some neighbours outside thinking the same thing!
Why weren't we notified that a blast that big was about to happen?? And to find out there will be more of those?
I live quite close to the pit and worry that this could affect my well water.
This is something that affects more than residents on our road, it affects anyone within 10 kms of the pit.
This is moving way to quickly with little information being given out.
How were they able to blast before anything was approved? Are they assuming everything is a go ahead?
Why am I just finding out about this now and not sooner? Some letters were handed out to residents who have their property directly attached to the pit, but this affects EVERYONE on our road and surrounding roads. Why were
Changes of this size should go through the township.
I am quite disapointed with the Township and Owners of lack of communication between themselves and the residents.
Thank you
A.
