Spreading or dumping raw…

Spreading or dumping raw sewage seems like an unconscionably bad idea. Until recently, I had no idea this was taking place in our region. This isn't a single family dumping - it is a business and - as they appear to be a fairly successful business - it strikes me that the sheer volume they must accumulate and dump/spread has to be quite substantial. It isn't simple human waste either - it must contain a massive amount of medications (either deliberately thrown away or filtered through someone's kidney or liver), wipes, plastics, personal hygiene products - all manner of human filth. That unprocessed dumping is permitted to take place in this day and age of heightened environmental awareness is astounding. This waste needs to be processed prior to use as fertilizer.

At this time, I would respectfully request that the issuance of an Environmental Compliance Approval for a hauled sewage disposal site be delayed until further study can be undertaken.
