Hello,

Consider this a formal comment in regards to the mining exploration permit 019-3249
That effects the one island area and my full time residence.

To list a few concerns I have regarding proposal is as follows;

Operating hours can not be 24hrs. The noise impact for land owners and local recreational users of drills going 600 m down times twenty holes is not reasonable for the quality of life of full time residents.

Water source, do not allow one island to be used, concerned about water levels within area and contamination

Access to snow surfers the crown land trails that are available.

Lack of engagement with surface right owners adjacent to the the permit proposal area

Road safety and conditions of gilbride road not adequate for all users - suggest to conduct road study and widen ROW.

Local Property value if activities of this nature are approved.

Environmental concerns regarding the drilling (local wells , contamination etc)
