This is Cottage Country in Northwestern Ontario. Generations of people have been living here in harmony with nature. Our intention, like that of our predecessors and that of our children and grandchildren is to continue to do so.

It is completely immoral to sacrifice the lives of the local residents in the futile attempt to satisfy the insatiable greed of a few others.

There is no way on earth that such practices as digging out gravel, mining and other forms of “resource extraction” should be permitted to undermine the lives of the residents of Ontario. Neither should endangered species and other natural living beings whose homes are located here be killed for the sake of human greed. Such environmental destruction must not be permitted.

Do not allow these practices to continue.
