Protection for Wolf Lake in the Temagami Region has been fought for for many years. This 'second generation' attempt to mine this area is concerning and discouraging. Please decline the mine. My last time in the area, 6 years ago, was beset with garbage at campsites, grown-over portages, and the sounds of a large gravel pit operation that could be heard for 2 days before arriving and and 2 days after. The industrialization of the north is draining our economy of potential. Instead, support renewable, life affirming investments like keeping up and promoting the canoe routes, supporting water quality and therefore fishing, etc.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
