Please protect the old growth forest. It is the only forest left that gives an idea as to what the Sudbury region looked liked more than a hundred years ago, before logging and mining forever scarred the landscape and gave Sudbury such a negative reputation. We are only starting to repair that damage and further destroying the surrounding nature through resource extraction would demonstrate the same lack of foresight and care for future generations as in the past. However, this time, lack of knowledge and means to do better cannot be used as excuses.
