Growing up around this…

Growing up around this quarry, I observed first-hand the impact of a much smaller quarry at that time - changes to the water table, blasting, truck traffic, dust etc. This quarry has expanded significantly since then, with concomitant impacts. This proposal to allow unlimited extraction will significantly impact traffic in the area. It is unknown what the impacts are to the existing water table, natural life surrounding the area, and the nuisance effects (dust, noise, etc) on the remaining residences in the area. I do not support an amendment to allow unlimited extraction, but would support a reasonable increase to meet the aggregate demand. There needs to be some accountability by this organization in terms of an annual limit.
