My only real concern is that would the population at some point bottleneck and reach a point that
enough inbreeding would occur to actually weaken the herd? If the heard was increasing by 10-15%
annually, would that not increase that chances of a bottleneck? Or would there be elk from other
herds slowly released on occasion in order to keep that from occurring?
