I live aprox 300m of the proposed galvanizing site, I walk by the property everyday with my dog. I’m extremely worried that a zinc galvanizing site had been preposed so close to the military base where many family’s live. The air pollution this type of plant produces is extremely unhealthy. Given the proximity of the proposed plant to daycares, playgrounds and the 22 Wing / CFB North Bay community, please reconsider allowing Norprop to discharge zinc, hydrogen chloride and other particulate matter into the air so close to the community.
