As a resident in this area I urge the City to prevent any expansion of these emissions. I am actually deeply shocked that the emissions have not been reduced (or eliminated) given the density of the residential neighbourhood and the shopping complex. You can smell the awful, toxic odour from my neighbourhood which is several large blocks east of this business. I deliberately avoid the Stockyards shopping complex and that surrounding area because of the horrific smell - especially on warm days - but also in the winter. My toddler has even asked about what the awful smell is. Please help us protect this neighbourhood and give it a chance to grow and flourish.
