I would like to note that St. Helen's Meat Packers Ltd. and it's proposal to increase emissions falls in a very residential neighbourhood, with most importantly Rockcliffe Middle School being down the street from one of it's facilities, and across the road from the future site. What message is this sending to the children who go to this school? At school we teach them about reducing our carbon footprint, recycling, composting and reducing our overall environmental impact and being stewards of the earth. This shows those children the opposite. That businesses are able to oppose those values.
