I am writing to express my disappointment that St Helen's may be allowed to expand their operations and pollute the environment further. I live with my family and infant daughter not far and the thought of her air being contaminated more disgusts me. These are carcinogens that are being released withing a close proximity of residential neighborhoods. If anything they should have to reduce their pollution because of that. The meatpackers clog the streets and get away with anything they want and it is time someone stood up to them. The smell coming from their operations has made me gag. I fear for what is am breathing in. This cannot be allowed to happen and I fully intend on call the mayor's office, the mp's office and mpp. The environment is supposed to improve. Not degrade.
