We owe it to future…

We owe it to future generations to save areas like the Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Park from development. I realize that the area that Giofam Investment's Inc is proposing to mine is outside of the park but the environmental impact that will be felt by the park will be devestating. Any activity that requires 8.1 million litres/day will cause major damage to the surrounding wildlife. According to Earthroots, our provincial government has made a commitment to improve biodiversity and to protect source water and groundwater; destroying contiguous wetlands and forest habitats that are dependent on groundwater sources contravenes several promises and objectives that have been clearly outlined by the Liberals. It is therefore our responsibility not to allow this to happen. Please, do not allow this development to move forward.
