My concern about this whole…

My concern about this whole thing would be over any smells and noxious odours that may be produced. We were greatly impacted by the recycling plant this past summer that had the compost heap. I live in the Stipley neighbourhood and the smell was not only overwhelming, but potent and noxious. It was vomit inducing. It's totally wrong and unfair tfor the people living in the lower part of the city to be continually subjected to these smells and possible health hazards just because of where we live. My children couldn't enjoy our pool because they would vomit upon smelling that garbage smell. Tiger Cats football games became almost intolerable to attend due to the stench of the neighbourhood. We do not need to now have the smell of the waste that this petition is trying to obtain. The compost place had rules and regulations in place and FAILED MISERABLY to meet them. What's to say that this proposed waste site won't do the same? We all know these places cut corners to save a buck. It's not fair to those of us who've purchased our homes in this area to be subjected to these types of facilities. I am against it.
