Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands I object to a quarry so close to the QEII Wildlands Provincial Park that I perceive will affect the ecological integrity of the area. I object to the damage this will cause to the probable existence of some species at risk listed under Ontario’s Endangered Species Act; I object to drawing down the water table of a significant wetland that will have an impact on adjacent ecosystems, this will certainly emperile the Provincially Significant Wetland (PSW).; I object to the environmental impacts related to the silica dust and added truck traffic that will occur during the quarry operations. This quarry proposal threatens QEII Wildlands Provincial Park outright there is no denying that should you go ahead with this proposal you are condeming the richness of the park.
