This policy is disastrous. It is cruel. It is seeking the extirpation of a species for no good reason. Everyone involved should be ashamed of themselves. Seriously. Allowing people to kill 50 birds a day for most of the year and just leave them there. They're not even game birds. This is a disaster for the province.
If anyone involved had a shred of integrity, they'd resign en masse in protest. This is a disgrace.
