The Ontario Auditor General…

The Ontario Auditor General has pointed out that the ministry posted significant and complex proposals for which a longer comment period could have enabled more informed consultation. In some of those cases, members of the public either requested more time to comment, or noted that the time provided was not enough given the nature of the proposal.

Since this issue has not been rectified and this ERO-019-8065 posting is a classic example of this issue, I respectfully state that the comment period should be expanded at least another 30 days, especially in leu of the fact that this is a major site plan amendment being proposed.
