I am very concerned about the effluent discharge from the mine water treatment facility on the Misema river system which provides a recreational and food source for the locals and visitors. I am suspect of Agnico Eagle's integrity and reluctant to trust them in light of the many lawsuits and environmental accidents caused as a result of their actions, activities and false reporting of information to the public and government. Cases in Nunavut, Val Dor and overseas are prime examples of potential issues of AE not living up to agreements, witholding information and acting in their own best interests at the expense of the environment, wildlife and human lives.
