Please do NOT to approve new and damaging mineral exploration in Wolf Lake old growth forest.
Wolf Lake is the largest known old growth red pine forest and the missing link in the Chiniguchi Waterway Provincial Park.
They use of heavy equipment to strip trees, vegetation and soil, excavate rock, and drill, will cause unacceptable damage to this sensitive and endangered and ancient ecosystem.
In addition, this area is a place of solace away from the city for backcountry campers and cottagers. My family drives nearly 6 hours each summer to enjoy and appreciate the old growth forest of Wolf Lake. Please preserve this for the people. For future generations. For the history of the area.
