Exploration and mining are a huge part of this Country’s economy. I think it is necessary to move forward with such projects. From my understanding, drilling does not harm the environment. After some light research, it has also come to my attention that no red pines will be effected in this early stage. I think exploration and mining companies do a decent job keeping these areas clean; cleaner than many campers in the area. On a positive note, this might also create a nicer road for those who do enjoy recreational activities in the area. Obviously policies need to be followed By these companies but stopping projects that can benefit us ALL as a nation and a small town who depends on mining jobs would be of greater harm.
