Wolf Lake is indeed a treasure; however its value is not a function of that which can be taken from it. Shiny trinkets will never compare to the extant beauty that is destroyed in the pursuit of such expensive garbage; and their value will never appreciate enough to buy back what has been spent in the course of their acquisition. Shame. How is it possible that we still haven’t learned how to enjoy together that which have? Shame. How is it possible that we still haven’t come to understand that this world does not belong to us, and that no amount of wealth will ever buy back the time spent attempting to own it. Shame.
