So many young families are moving into this neighbourhood. The industry are already so disrespectful of public space - allowing them to increase toxins in the air, increases operations and will only bring more issues to the neighbourhood. These slaughterhouses are constantly eliminating terrible smells in the air. I have had to call and complain to the Ministry of Environment many times. I've seen trucks with animal carcuses - uncovered and visible to the eye. Operations should not increase for these businesses. Please prioritize the health of the community members. Breathing in toxins and dead animal waste should be a health concern for the city. Their operations should be stopped, not increased.
