Such an important decision to this request by Carmeuse requires far more time to review and comment than 30 days. Carmeuse' request to amalgamate licenses in an area already designated by their tenant (Walker) to build a mega landfill is an attempt to disrupt the EA process. The MNR should be reviewing Carmeuse licenses in order to revoke them for not putting in place any rehab plans for quarried out areas. Their only rehab plan is to fill up the fractured limestone quarry with garbage. That is not rehabilitation as required under their license.
