This approval is to renew existing permit to take water No. 0712-7PDNLT for dead livestock processing (industrial) purposes (associated with gasification system and pollution control equipment). Permit No. 1843-BAPP8T was issued on March 28, 2019 for a period of 10 years.

This new Environmental Compliance Approval (Industrial Sewage) is for Bry-ain Holdings Inc., for the establishment of stormwater management works consisting of grassed swales and infiltration trenches, discharging to Huntley Creek, to service a proposed office/repair garage development located at 2688 Carp Road in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

The government has released A Place to Grow which replaces the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, 2017. Changes to O. Reg. 525/97 ensure the Minister’s approval is required for official plan amendments that implement provincial mapping for the Agricultural System for the Greater Golden Horseshoe and Natural Heritage System for the Plan.

The Minister has identified 29 provincially significant employment zones that receive enhanced protection under A Place to Grow. A new Environmental Compliance Approval (Industrial Sewage) was granted to CRH Canada Group Inc. The approval is for sewage works for the collection, transmission and disposal of stormwater at CRH Canada Group's proposed Dufferin Concrete Simcoe Plant located at 193 Concession 8 Townsend, in the Township of Waterford, Norfolk, Ontario.
