1. Prepare your application
You’ll need to prepare an application. You may wish to include the following things in your application:

- your interest in the decision, and any facts you want taken into account in deciding whether you have an interest in the decision

- the reason(s) why you believe that no reasonable person – having regard to the relevant law and to any government policies developed to guide decisions of that kind – could have made the decision
- the grounds (facts) you’ll be using to appeal

Proposal details
This proposal is for an amendment to the existing Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) No. A-500-1188155825 for 2374868 Ontario Inc. This amendment application is to increase the daily receiving rate at the facility from 100 to 200 tonnes per day, and the maximum storage capacity from 350 to 700 tonnes.
The site receives slurry from hydrovac vehicles from multiple sites in Southern Ontario, and dry soil is generated by physical water separation. Soil and aggregate material is tested and reused on-site for berm construction and/or sold for beneficial reuse to local customers. Residual soil which does not meet reuse criteria is transported and disposed of at a permitted off-site treatment or disposal facility in accordance with an existing Waste Management Environmental Compliance Approval. Separated water is infiltrated into the Site soils and a Groundwater Monitoring Program is in place. The Site is serviced by municipal water and is located in a non-potable groundwater area.
Receiving, processing and shipping takes place between 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The Site also occasionally provides hydrovac services outside typical operating hours (i.e., after hours and weekends).
