I oppose BlueTriton's application for bottling water in Ontario. The communities which this water serves will be unfairly and adversely affected, including Indigenous communities who fought against Nestle making a similar application.

Water-taking by corporations should not be allowed. Water in the ground belongs to everyone, not just the powerful few for profit, but for the needs of all people. I strongly request that this application for a water-taking permit be denied.

It is completely inappropriate to extract water from public lands! Given the conditions we are facing, in the climate emergency, we must be extremely judicious in preserving this precious, essential resource- water.
