Why can’t government simply do the right thing. If you tout your government as being protectors of the environment and the evidence of how you proceed forward is detrimental to said environment, you should not use those methods. Citizens are not stupid. Do the right thing. Aim for sustainability.

Please leave as many trees growing as possible--that will help reverse climate change. Wood pellets have proven to be false climate change--green washing. Please Ontario create jobs that are based on real climate science.

We must stop expanding the wood pellet industry. This is not a climate solution. Whole trees are being used and this method is actually dirtier than the coal method. Do not "streamline" the process. We need real sustainability solutions, not green washing.

I am concerned about the expansion of biomass given the pollution given off when burned. I am also concerned about increasing deforestation to sustain demand for wood pellets. Lire davantage

This approach the Ford government is suggesting in no way supports the need for clean energy. Plus the concern about the possibility of lumber companies clear cutting forests instead of using waste materials. We need solutions that will reduce carbon emissions, not increase them.
