Hunting bears is cruel & barbaric. Why not try to live with bears rather than kill them. After all we have taken their habitat. I have never had a problem with bears. Humans are causing the 6th Mass extinction. We need to protect bears not kill them

Stop murdering wildlife! Have we not taken enough from them? This is embarrassing. Preservation and assistance is what these animals need. Learn to cohabitate or stay out of their environment. No other specials than man, is so grotesquely entitled.

I am against such a law. Why a spring hunt when all the new cubs are in need of there mothers. It is cruel to do such a thing. If we have a problem of overpopulation, I think there are other ways to control. Lire davantage

I don’t support the changes to the non residents portion of the spring bear hunt, sounds like the ministry is doing something corrupt for the outfitters at the expense of non resident land owners!!

Spring is a season when young animals need their mothers. Allowing the killing of bears at this season assures that not only the adult will die, but likely the youngsters as well. There is time in the fall - if a hunt must be held at all.

Please ban black bear hunting and trapping altogether. Trapping is the most inhumane thing imaginable. Hunting in the spring when mothers and babies are coming out of their dens is absolutely horrible. How many babies will be abandoned and die because their mothers will be killed in these hunts.
