Glad to see their ministry is attempting to find a solution to the cottage leases in Rondeau Provincial Park. The three year extension is a step in the right direction which would be permanent occupancy of the cottages

I am strongly in favour of a long term solution where the cottagers can continue to lease the land. My preferred option would be for the Province of Ontario to sell the cottage occupied lands to to Chatham, to help them maintain a known yearly income from taxes. Thanks

I am in favour of the three year extension on the lease for the cottagers at Rondeau Park. It is a good start to a much needed permanent solution to keep the community at Rondeau Park vibrant.

A three year extension is a good sign there will be a negotiated settlement that is beneficial to all involved. The idea to extend the lease should be automatic when the existing lease runs out if an agreed up solution has not yet been achieved. Lire davantage
