There has not been enough communication to people in the surrounding area about the impacts of this quarry on nearby residents including the impact on business, particularly those on Bridge St and the nearby spa, that cannot possibly operate near a quarry. As a resident of Hastings County I am opposed to the amendment of the official plan to allow Freymond Lumber to operate a quarry. Like many others, I moved to this area to enjoy the natural environment around Bancroft. Lire davantage

Please do not approve the Hastings County Official Plan Amendment No. 18. The OPA Amendment is not well thought out and many essential reports and studies have not been completed or peer reviewed. Hastings County have not asked all the right questions and probed what has been provided. Lire davantage
