This decision is an appalling one for a number of reasons. It goes against everything that a fiscally responsible government should be doing. It is also an abhorrent moral failure on the part of the provincial government to pull out of a plan that is proven to reduce emissions. Lire davantage

Doug Ford does not understand or appreciate science. By canceling this act (especially at this time) he is totally disrespecting the the scientists who are warning us about the impacts of climate change.

Carbon pricing is a proven method of reducing emissions that does not have averse effects on the economy. There is no excuse for cancelling it. It is unacceptable for the Ontario government (or any government) to be taking steps away from climate action. Lire davantage

I look to my government for leadership to deal with difficult issues such as climate change. I am horrified that this effective instrument is being repealed without any replacement legislation.
