Application 52-C-180496 was approved on August 28, 2019 with standard conditions.
The consent application was for two lot additions on Eagle Lake east of Vermilion Bay. Abutting land owners will each get half of property. Three lots became two.
The lands are described as PIN 42072-0213, Parcel 24917, Parts 2 & 4 of Plan K.R. 706, on Concession 1 on Part of Lot 10 on Eagle Lake, in the Unincorporated Township of Mutrie, in the District of Kenora, roughly 10 kilometres east of Vermilion Bay.

The approval can be appealed using the procedure outlined below. Notice to appeal the decision to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal must be filed with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on or before September 18, 2019.
The applicant has one (1) year to satisfy conditions, otherwise approval will lapse.

Appeal process for decisions published before June 1, 2021
You can appeal all or part of this this instrument to the appeal to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) by submitting a notice of appeal to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
There is an additional “leave to appeal” right under the Environmental Bill of Rights.
Who can appeal
A notice of appeal can be submitted by:
- individuals
- corporations
- public bodies
A notice of appeal can’t be submitted by:
- an unincorporated association
- an unincorporated group
You can, however, submit a notice of appeal as a member of the unincorporated association or group.
You have to have made an oral submission at a public meeting or a written submission to the council before the official plan amendment was adopted. Note: this is not required if you are appealing a proposal for provisional consent (no official plan in place).

- the reasons for your appeal

Description of instrument
The purpose of the application is for two lot additions. It is proposed to convert three lots into two lots by splitting a vacant property on Eagle Lake and transferring each half to abutting land owners. A 0.14 hectare portion will be transferred to PIN 42072-0190, Part 1 of Plan K.R. 706; and the remaining 0.14 hectare portion from PIN 42072-0213 will be transferred to PIN 42072-0212, Parts 3 and 5 of K.R. 706. If approved, PIN 42072-0190 will be approximately 0.48 hectares in size, and PIN 42072-0212 will be roughly 0.46 hectares in size. Both properties contain seasonal cottages serviced by sewage systems and lake water.
