The infrastructure in this area does not support the amount of building. Traffic is a major issue for residents and has become a major safety issue. The area of Highway 7 between Weston Rd and Keele continues to have major development as well as development already scheduled for over 1,300 homes at the former golf course site near Highway 7 west of Islington.
