This prospect of development in this region is completely ridiculous. Given the cumulative impacts of current and proposed aggregate pits within the region, along with extensive cottages and the reservoir on Dog lake further down in the watershed, a mine of any proportion in this region is absurd. The prospect of tourism, cottages and recreation greatly outweighs the benefits of any mine development.
