I wish to submit my opposition to the proposed mining exploration by Transition Metals Corp. at One Island Lake. I currently have property on One Island Lake and reside there seasonally. The amount of industrial activity that already exists in this area is excessive. Multiple aggregate operations have destroyed forest lands in the area and have created dangerous conditions on the roadways. This area is treasured by many for its recreational potential and can not accommodate any further industrial activity. I would hope that this permit is not granted and this company looks at less populated areas for exploration that would not alter the environment of a recreational zone.
