Commentaire
I object to the enhanced authority given to the MInister by these provisions in the Planning Act. Such authority to override municipal decisions goes against basic democratic principles and places too much arbitrary power in the hands of the Minister. The fact that the Minister can make decisions under this authority without any kind of accountability makes the provisions all the more suspect.
