We urge you, as a community at large which greatly appreciates and values the land from which you're planning to extract, to reassess the environmental impacts of this project. Your current stance on this is unsatisfactory to those who want you to abide by the environmental regulations. Your ongoing inaction towards preserving this increasingly rare ecosystem speaks volumes about your perspective on the future of our world, your children's world. These ecosystems are invaluable and cannot be simply re-manufactured like the consumable garbage that will be created from the minerals therein. I strongly encourage you to develop strudier integrity when it comes to your enacting your responsibilities of conservation. At the same time, we would very much like to see you begin to see greater care and respect for who choose to enjoy life beyond material consumption.

Maybe take a trip out there before the season ends. Might change your mind.
