Wolf Lake is the largest old growth red pine forest, and it must not be disturbed by drilling. The proposed activities that include clearing of vegetation, and washing of the soil from the bedrock disrupt habitats of animals and birds, as well as fish and amphibians, by removing habitat from land, and washing soil and sediment into lakes and rivers. This is unacceptable. Protect these beautiful lands so future generations can enjoy what we have for decades.
